What does being a UMBC McNair scholar mean to you?: Being a McNair Scholar has taught me that there are passionate people with dreams similar to mine that will be here for me, and I will be there for them in return. The diversity of our backgrounds and our aspirations make up who we are as a group. We are not only scholars in the McNair program, but we are also members of this McNair family.
