About Our Ceremony
The RGPN McNair Induction Ceremony is a formal recognition of the incoming cohort of McNair Scholars & RGPN McNair as members of the McNair family. Members of the incoming cohort will be pinned by current RGPN Scholars, McNair Scholars, and program alumni. The signing of the contract formalizes the agreement of RGPN McNair Scholars to fulfill RGPN & McNair Scholar Programs requirements and embody the values of the McNair Scholars Program. The Torch Ceremony is where the RGPN Scholars and McNair Scholars who are graduating seniors are specially recognized for their commitment, investment, growth, and achievement during their service to the program as McNair Scholars. Family, friends, professors, and community members are encouraged to attend.
