Join us for a day of deep diving and exploring how to develop better relationships with our finances! Our facilitator for this event is Sonya Squires-Caesar, a current doctoral student in the interdisciplinary Language Literacy and Culture (LLC) program candidate at UMBC! Her research focus is in innovate anti-poverty initiatives, financial socialization (the how and from whom we learn our money attitudes, beliefs, values, and habits) and immigrant communities and informal savings clubs.
In this engaging and interactive session, participants dive deep into where their own financial beliefs originate from! Please come prepared to dive deeply and engage completely with the material with the end goal of developing better relationships with money!
The event starts at 1:00 pm and ends at 2:30 pm. Lunch is available at 12 pm for those who register via myumbc by November 30th.
