Undergraduate, community college, and graduate students within the University System of Maryland (USM) in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), are
invited to submit abstracts for the USM LSAMP Fall 2017 Research Symposium, which will take place at the University of Maryland, College Park on Saturday, December 2, 2017
The 1st Annual University System of Maryland (USM) LSAMP Fall Research Symposium provides students with the opportunity to both view and present research through poster, traditional oral, and TED-style presentations, while also enhancing their scientific development and STEM identity. Registrants will participate in the Graduate School and Resource Fair and network with graduate schools, summer research opportunities, research and graduate school funding, and more! This research symposium focuses on supporting students in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. Limited space is available. All participants must pre-register!
- All non-UMD attendees (students, faculty, staff) will have to pay a registration fee of $20 to participate.
- Non-UMD attendees will be sent a separate email upon completion of registration containing directions on how to submit payment.
- Community college students can email Ms. Michelle Udeli (lsamp@umd.edu), LSAMP Program Coordinator, for additional details regarding registration fees.
For students (undergraduate and graduate) who wish to submit an abstract, apply via our Abstract Submission Form.
