My research interests include environmental engineering, particularly water treatment and renewable energy.

I am an Eco-Ambassador Intern at the UMBC Sustainability Matters Office. I also volunteer with the garden club on campus to coordinate food waste dinners. I enjoy hiking, reading, and poetry.
What does being a UMBC McNair scholar mean to you?:
Being a UMBC McNair Scholar means that I am in the unique position of having access to valuable resources that can enrich my academic, professional and even personal life. I am continually learning and being introduced to different cultures, research, and ways of thinking. As a scholar, I have the responsibility to be an active and serving member of my community both on and off campus through sharing my dreams and visions but also giving others the power to share their voices as well.
